Paul Scanlon

I studied a degree in Mining Engineering (including project work down South Crofty tin mine in Cornwall), an MSc in Computer Aided Engineering (doing project work for a Formula 1 team) and then (for some reason) went into the sexy world of computer software. 

I have been a software tester for over 15 years, working in various industries from Japanese mobile networks to goverment financial systems. I have managed test teams and writen test strategies for a number of multi-million pound software releases.

My personal interests include science and astronomy. I try to keep the Paul Scanlon Home Page up to date. I also enjoy Formula 1 and creative writing (although I'm not very good at it).

I have now launched my own website opinionly.com that will hopefully be the next big thing. Please do check it out.
